We're a family owned, strictly independent florist, not affiliated with any wire service. We focus on providing fresh cut flowers for your table, your friends who need cheering up, and just about anything else. We enjoy flowers in their natural state, so we do not dip, tint or dye our product.
We grow some of our flowers during the summer months. The two main-stays are sunflowers & lemon basil... huge customer favorites! Celosia, zinnias and various other things at different times round out the mix. We also have a greenhouse that we use to extend the growing season and start our seedling plugs in.
We have about 5 acres total in flower production. The rest of the farm is taken up by traditional row crops, a couple food plots for the deer, and woodland. And yes, a creek runs through it. ;-)
We put up pictures on our Facebook page normally in the spring with the new stuff being tried in the greenhouse. Depending how busy and/or tired we are, it's rather sporadic.
Our cats have floated over the rainbow bridge, and no one has seen fit to dump off any new ones (the way we always come by our animals) so we're left with watching the deer, foxes, bald eagles and the occasional coyote. We believe we even have a mink or 2 hanging around.
